? As an aid on an instrument approach, make the airport your destination waypoint,
then “direct to” as you intercept the final approach course. Match TRK and BRG and the needles will stay centered. VSI=5*GS will keep you on an ILS glideslope.
(A fancy GPS won’t need this work-around)
